A lonely guy goes to a lonely place - and likes it.
Overall the experience at StarEast was more a pleasantly odd surprise than a disappointment, via tP.The Forest Ave. cafe serves hummus, flatbread, and kabob.

Went there for brunch with the entire family. The flatbread alone was worth the visit. Star East has one of the best spaces in Portland. We appreciated the large windows. Next time we'll try one of the several conversation corners.
The flatbread is incredible. We went for the first time last night and plan to return today for more bread.
The Star East has one of the best dining spaces in greater Portland. Lots of seating choices make it a very comfortable place -- cosy nooks for conversation, window tables and tuck-away corners. A good place for business meetings.
Our family had a wonderful brunch there with very friendly service. The flatbread's amazing.
the stareast cafe has the best food i ever had and every one else stincks
