Spacebagging is common practice among winter visitors to the AMC huts in NH, because carrying an extra half ounce of cardboard up a mountain is an awful burden.
Spacebaggers are also prone to leave their half-empty spacebags behind for the caretaker in lieu of tips. Lazy cheapskates.
