Plywood Report
Papaya King moved in to 5 Dana Street, according to Bryan Bruchman over at Hillytown.
Port City Music Hall will reportedly open on Saturday. But possibly only with bottled beer, via tF.
437 Congress Street, the old Mainely Masters, may have gotten a lowboy. Some sort of deli?

As you may have heard by now, we've rescheduled our opening show, Fear Nuttin Band & Sidecar Radio to next Saturday, 1/24. Construction & finishing details are on track, but we found out Thursday evening that our final inspection for our state liquor license would not happen on Friday. The Forecaster was in the room on Monday 1/12. It's a vastly different place now. The sound and lights have been installed and are fully operational. See you next week!

Other news, Prost has been closed for at least a week. What a shocker! Who's next to dump a bunch of money into that spot so they can fail?
Prost has been closed for months.
I saw the the paper covering the windows with "Wasabi" written on it on Exchange street. There was also a big "Stop work order" from the city stuck on the door. I know Soley owns those buildings too but I thought the problem was only on the other side of the street. Maybe it's a stop work order for a different reason.
They show on the map outside the Pavillion where Luna Rossa will be. It takes up one of the various sections downstairs plus it looks like they have half the top floor which I'll imagine they'll use for seating. Tough time to try and open something like that.
Prost was opened originally by the same person opening Luna Rossa now. No way you'll find me there.
More on Wasabi here. Sounds like Asian fusion to me.
The people who owned Prost also owned an Italian eatery in Raymond called Montebello's I think...
