Had some Wednesday night. Samantha blanched them, and tossed them into a salad with fava beans, shaved celery root, mint, snap peas, scallions, olive oil, lemon juice and feta cheese. Spring in a bowl.

Will Slow Foods host Fiddlefest again this year?
Slow Food Portland has decided to give Fiddlefest a rest this year. It was losing a bit of steam and there's only so much you can do with fiddleheads four years in a row! We're working on some other larger events for the near term, and are also a sponsor for this weekend's Food+Farm at Space Gallery.
Thanks, Don. We've enjoyed the event in years past and drawn inspiration from it.
